I first visited Trail Auto in the summer of 1989 and found it a relatively small place surrounded by more ALFA Romeo automobiles than I had ever seen gathered together at once.
The owner Dean Russell had come highly recommended to me for servicing the 1978 ALFA Spider I had recently purchased. The local ALFA Romeo Owners Club of Detroit and a local ALFA Romeo dealership both recommended Trail Auto to me.
After speaking to Dean Russell on the phone about my vehicle I received directions to his business and setup an appointment. I was leaving on vacation, so I dropped my vehicle off during the duration of my travels. Upon returning and picking up my vehicle, I was 100% satisfied. Trail Auto has supplied parts and service for my Alfa Romeo Spider for 11 years.
